Jack is having trouble with Twombley, the sound effects man. Eugene Twombley was really the name of one of the sound effects men on the program, but Mel Blanc plays the part. No mention is made that this is the end of the series, primarily because nobody knew it was! American Tobacco Company didn’t make the announcement until the final show had aired.
