In a small town of Madhya Pradesh, the Ajnar River was once heavily polluted. But today it is gradually becoming clean again. This change is the result of the hard work of a 20-year-old man, Bittu. Initially, he urged local residents to join in cleaning the river and even considered that a machine could make the task easier. However, neither idea succeeded. So he single-handedly started on his mission. Even after suffering infections in his hands and feet during the cleaning process, Bittu has continued his mission. - मध्य प्रदेश के एक छोटे से शहर में स्थित अजनार नदी कभी अत्यधिक प्रदूषित हुआ करती थी, लेकिन आज इसका पानी साफ नजर आने लगा है। इस बदलाव के पीछे 20 वर्षीय युवक बिट्टू की मेहनत है, जो अब एक प्रेरणा बन चुके हैं। शुरुआत में बिट्टू ने लोगों से नदी साफ करने की अपील की और यह भी सोचा कि कोई मशीन होती तो काम आसान हो जाता, लेकिन दोनों ही प्रयास सफल नहीं हुए। इसके बावजूद उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी और दूसरों की बातों को नजरअंदाज करते हुए खुद ही सफाई में जुट गए।कुछ ही महीनों में उनके प्रयासों का असर दिखने लगा और उन्होंने अकेले ही नदी के कई घाट साफ कर दिए। इस दौरान उन्हें हाथ-पैरों में संक्रमण भी हुआ, फिर भी वे लगातार इस काम में लगे हुए हैं।

A 31-year-old man, Cole Tomas Allen, has been charged for allegedly attempting to assassinate US President Donald Trump during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The alleged shooter was stopped before entering the ballroom at the Washington Hilton, where journalists, officials and Trump were present. Donald and Melania Trump, Vice-President J-D Vance and other cabinet members were evacuated unscathed. Acting U-S Attorney General Todd Blanche has confirmed President Trump appeared to be Allen's target.

The Victorian Budget 2026-27 will deliver a 20 per cent rebate on light vehicle registration. Currently, registration for a light vehicle costs up to $930.70 per year. With the discount, a single-car owner could save up to $186, while families with two cars could receive up to $372. The state government says the measure is aimed at putting money back into the pockets of Victorians, as fuel costs continue to rise. Applications will open on 1 June and remain open until 31 July, giving eligible residents two months to claim the rebate. It will be available to Victorians who own light vehicles for personal use, including cars, utes, and vehicles weighing under 4.5 tonnes.
