This week on Introducing it's Pōneke artist Romi Wrights - the recording project of Lisa Wright who is the latest signing to local independent label Mānuka Recordings. Here she is to introduce her new single 'Bring it Back'.

On this episode of Introducing we meet Sāmoan musician, actor and poet EMA I'U who has just released her powerful new 'Flower of Life'. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, EMA I'U aka Ema Barton is a performer with a powerful presence, undeniable skill as a vocalist and talent as a songwriter. It's really no wonder that the music video for her catchy new RnB-pop single 'Flower of Life' was selected to premiere at the 2023 SXSW Sydney Film Festival.

Once described as Nick Drake meets Drake, Auckland based Nick Johnston's (Cut Off Your Hands) solo project NickyByNicky weaves together open tuned nylon string guitar, processed vocals and found/field recordings resulting in ambient, folk inspired pop music.

This week on Introducing we meet pop artist YAHYAH whose new EP '7 Lovers' was released last Friday. The release of this EP marks the end of what has been a huge year for the Pop artist, and the start of her next wave that comes with a huge amount of anticipation and promise.
