On Friday, 3 October, South Africa's Constitutional Court made history by granting equal parental leave to all parents, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or family structure. This ruling replaces "maternity leave" with "parental leave," allowing both parents to share four months of leave as they choose. There have been many concerns about parents' behaviour next to the rugby field and their treatment of the referees. Stefan van Zyl was the ref for an under-15 C school match over the weekend.
