A fire engulfed an under-construction apartment building in Lehi earlier this month. The blaze completely claimed the 300-unit building, but authorities are saying that there were no heat sources installed in the building, as it was still in the framing stage. Graffiti appeared last week on some rock faces in Utah's Iconic Arches National Park, underscoring the pains of a government shutdown as well as reduced funding and staffing. While the parks were being funded by the state during the shutdown, they still only operated with a skeleton crew, meaning they had only the essential staff to keep the park open.
