The Phoenix Suns couldn’t get the job done in the 7-8 Play-In Tournament game, blowing a late-game lead to the Portland Trail Blazers. Despite leading by eight points late in the game, Phoenix fell, 114-110, and will have just one more shot to advance to the NBA Playoffs. The Phoenix Suns will look to get back on track in their home finale as they host Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night. It’s the second end of a back to back for Phoenix, which blew a 21-point lead to the visiting Houston Rockets on Tuesday. The Phoenix Suns did not do much to inspire confidence Tuesday, blowing a 21-point first quarter lead in a 119-105 loss to the Houston Rockets. Led by 30 points from Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns snapped a two-game skid with a 120-110 win over the Chicago Bulls on Easter Sunday.
