The Los Angeles Rams shocked the world in round one when they selected quarterback Ty Simpson out of Alabama and this may prove to be a prudent moves for the Rams, but it certainly does nothing to help their 2026 unless the Rams shock the world twice. The Jacksonville Jaguars didn't have a first rounder, but they found a way to shock the world anyways with their confusing selections. Jacksonville went way against the consensus board to get their targets and it could leave them looking like the smartest in the room, but it could also leave egg on their face as well.
