The Community Campfire

Take a fun and colorful dive into two of Midway Elementary’s most beloved icons: Miss Sally… and the legendary two-headed calf. The Campfire Music Sesh features indie-pop artist Aspen Anonda, serving up soulful songs and heartfelt stories. Plus, the campfire kids, Friday fun facts, Coach Skinner's skinny on sports, and a spark or two of surprise.

This week, we pull back the curtain on the “Park City Follies,” the 25-year theater tradition that lovingly roasts all things Park City. Coach Skinner is back with the skinny on sports, and our campfire kids are always full of surprises. Plus, the Campfire Music Sesh features singer-songwriter Travis Van Hoff.

KPCW debuted its new Friday morning radio show and weekly podcast, "The Community Campfire," with hosts John Burdick, Sarah Ervin, Amber Johnson, Andrea Buchanan and Bill Skinner. The debut episode features a trip down memory lane, some voices and stories from the earliest days of Park City's quirky radio station, and the origin of the "community campfire" moniker. The episode wraps with a live in-studio performance and conversation with local singer-songwriter Mary Beth Maziarz. Gather 'round the campfire each week for heart-warming stories and performances from the voices of the Wasatch Back.
