Description:
Youth Radio is a program written and produced entirely by youth, bringing fresh perspectives, unique sounds, and original segments to the airwaves. Tune in every other Saturday at 10:00am for music curation, interviews, audio dramas, and more, as our young creators explore everything from emerging artists to timeless genres. This program provides a platform for youth to develop their voices and share their passion for music and storytelling with the community. On alternating Saturdays, tune in for Homelands. Homelands is a celebration of all things Indigenous, including artists, activists, musicians, storytellers, academics, Elders, poets, filmmakers, youth, and traditional peoples not only here in the Homelands of the Métis and Treaty 6 territory, but beyond, to reflect the diverse identities of all Indigenous peoples everywhere and the vast connections we all have with one another as relatives, allies, settlers, and the First Peoples of this land who welcomed all the guests. You never know what you will get when you tune in, but rest assured it will always inform and entertain.
