The Anaheim Ducks agreed to terms with Jackson LaCombe on an 8-year, $72 million dollar contract that will begin next season making him the highest paid player in Ducks history with the total dollar amount. LaCombe spoke with Alexis Downie after signing the new deal.

In this edition of our Anaheim Ducks Media Day interviews, Alexis Downie chats with Ryan Poehling, Ville Husso and Troy Terry. Newcomer Poehling (2:49) shares his excitement on joining the organization and more on his offseason in Minnesota. Husso (11:36) then talks about spending the summer back home training in Finland. Lastly, Terry (20:24) discusses the coaching staff changes and what he's looking forward to with the upcoming season.

Mikael Granlund, Radko Gudas and Pavel Mintyukov joined Alexis Downie during this year's Anaheim Ducks Media Days. Granlund (2:09) spoke on his excitement upon coming to Orange County and joining the team, while Gudas (10:29) shared details of his summer back home in Czech. Mintyukov (20:42) rounds it out by discussing his time spent with family after not seeing them for a year.

On this third edition of the 2025 Anaheim Ducks Media Days, Alexis Downie is joined by Petr Mrázek (1:29), Cutter Gauthier (9:30) and Jackson LaCombe (16:20) to catch up on each of their offseasons. Mrázek discusses the new opportunity in Anaheim, followed by World Champions Gauthier and LaCombe, who share their experiences winning with Team USA.

Alexis Downie is joined at the corn hole boards and putting green by Sam Colangelo (2:30), Frank Vatrano (10:32) and Olen Zellweger (16:59) for the second episode of the 2025 Anaheim Ducks Media Day interviews. Colangelo shares details of his summer back home in Boston. Vatrano then follows his new housemate by discussing his anticipation for the season. Zellweger rounds it out by discussing his favorite offseason eats and more.

The Anaheim Ducks are back out on the ice! 2025 Training Camp kicked off on Thursday at Great Park Ice with GM Pat Verbeek (3:49) speaking on the upcoming year and shed some light on the Mason McTavish contract situation. Head Coach Joel Quenneville (14:32) then spoke after his first day on the ice with the team, sharing his excitement to be back with the game. The captain Radko Gudas (27:32) also spoke with the media on the energy of the first day. Next up, the newcomers Chris Kreider (33:49) and Mikael Granlund (39:20) gave their perspective of joining the Ducks. And rounding out the Training Camp coverage, Leo Carlsson (42:58) spoke about the first day back.

With the offseason in the rearview, Alexis Downie is joined by Ryan Strome (3:47), Chris Kreider (14:13) and Jacob Trouba (22:17) during the Anaheim Ducks Media Days. Strome shares details of a golf trip to Ireland, Kreider sheds light on his emotions with the trade and Trouba recounts his summer back home in New England.

The Anaheim Ducks kicked off September by hosting the annual Golf Classic at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in support of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation. Alexis Downie joined players and coach on the course to chat about the day. Ryan Strome (1:50), Troy Terry (5:07), Head Coach Joel Quenneville (7:37), Chris Kreider (11:01), Jackson LaCombe (12:42), Ryan Poehling (14:57), Radko Gudas (16:55), Lukáš Dostál (18:51) and Sam Colangelo (20:49) each spoke with Downie.

PWHL champion and Minnesota Frost forward Dominique Petrie stopped in the Kariya Studio in this episode to show off her hardware! Petrie spoke with Alexis Downie about her SoCal roots, her journey to professional hockey and what it means to see the growth of the sport in her hometown.

Defenseman Drew Helleson joined Alexis Downie to discuss his 2-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks, growing with the organization and his rookie season. Helleson also chats about his summer back home in Minnesota and what he's looking forward to about this season.

Back in June during the NHL Draft, the Anaheim Ducks worked a trade with the Detroit Red Wings where the team acquired goaltender Petr Mrázek in exchange for goaltender John Gibson. Mrazek joined Alexis Downie in his first chat as a Duck to share what he's looking forward to in being a part of the organization and more on his relationship with Lukáš Dostál and Radko Gudas.

It was another success week at the Anaheim Ducks 2025 Development Camp! Alexis Downie first caught up with Ducks prospects Beckett Sennecke (2:49) and Stian Solberg (6:13) about their last year of growth since being drafted in 2024. After that, Downie chats with the first six picks by the Ducks including Roger McQueen (13:29), Eric Nilson (19:05), Lasse Boelius (22:19), Noah Read (25:14), Drew Schock (29:06) and Elijah Neuenschwander (33:08) about being drafted and their first experience with camp.

The Anaheim Ducks signed forward Mikael Granlund to a three-year contract on the first day of NHL Free Agency last week. Granlund shared with Alexis Downie why he chose the Ducks, spoke on his relationship with Teemu Selanne and what he's hoping to bring to the team in Orange County.
