In the final days of the German Democratic Republic, as hundreds of thousands flee the country and mass demonstrations grow, a high ranking Stasi officer discovers the leadership of State Security intends to kidnap his two-year old son for unknown reasons. Is it because of the boy’s extraordinary intelligence and does the leadership know something about the source of that gift which the parents do not?
