In 1972, at the young age of six, Sole's idyllic, tranquil life in the Welsh countryside is irrevocably changed by the news of two forthcoming arrivals: twin sisters Luna and Stella.
Nudged by an endlessly wet winter, and travelling in the buses that will become their homes, the growing family set forth for sunnier plains and the little-known island of Ibiza.
As the hippie movement and anti-Vietnam War sentiments sweep the globe, Ibiza becomes a haven for those seeking an alternative way of life. Here the family encounter the unassuming kindness of the island’s locals and the rugged, rural landscape offering them a fresh start.
