We were joined by Palmer's grandson, Sam Saunders, as well as the Friedkin Group's Director of Golf Bruce Davidson, Brandel Chamblee, Eamon Lynch, Paul McGinley and Palmer Cup participants Michael LaSasso and Louise Rydqvist. Discussion centered around the Palmer Cup and the ways it makes an impact, the integration of men and women in the competition itself and the initiative's of the Friedkin Group and Congaree and the Global Golf Initiative.

Ray is known as a golf stat and information guru and he shared some mind-boggling stats on Rory McIlroy at Quail Hollow, Tiger Woods against the field, Jack Nicklaus in the 70’s and a number of other stats for the game’s best. Among other things, Rea talked about the PGA Works collegiate event going on in Whistling Straits and how many people are still finding golf in non-traditional ways and enjoying the sport. NBC broadcaster Mike Tirico and Tom Coyne, founder of the Golfer's Journal, joined the program this morning. Coyne was up first and talked about some of the bigger stories in golf so far this year, gave a low down on Philadelphia Cricket Club where this week's PGA TOUR event will be held for the Truist Championship, some history of Philadelphia golf and an update on Sullivan County Golf Club. Tirico also dove into golf's biggest stories of the year, looked for some historical comparisons to Rory McIlroy's win at The Masters, spoke to the big three of McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau all being in form headed to the PGA Championship and reflected on some iconic sports calls.
